After I sold the Ultima GTR, I thought I would go back in time and buy a Classic car for occasional Sunday morning drives and a few Owners Club events. The MGC was a 2.9 litre straight-six version of the MGB, made for just a couple of years between 1967 and 1969, with a production run of approximately 4,500 in the GT style.  It was a heavier car than the MGB as it’s engine was about 200lbs heavier. The MGC has a distinctive bulge in the bonnet and a teardrop shaped bulge where the triple SU-carburettors are located.
